Larry’s love of nature and the desire to explore, see new things and new behaviors was instilled as a young child. That desire is still strong and continues to grow even though age marches on. Larry’s enthusiasm carried over to his wife, Terrie, who now tags along as Larry’s partner taking pictures by his side. This desire translates into another passion, to make pleasing images that bring joy, inspiration, and hopefully let others see through our images part of our great natural world they might not otherwise see. Larry believes that Nature is at it’s Best when taking photographs of untamed, wild, un-baited critters. Most of our wildlife images are in their natural habitat (unless otherwise noted).
To find a subject in great light, to produce a pleasing image, to us is what photography is all about, but the truth is even without the camera in hand we would still be out there observing all the great things in nature.
Larry and Terrie moved to Central Oregon in 2008 to be in a photography rich environment.
We process and print all of my own images (except gallery wraps and metal) using Epson and Canon printers.
Canon Pixma Pro 9500 MKII – this printer uses the 10 full color pigment Lucia ink system. The maximum paper size is 13″ x 19″, cut sheet only.
Larry’s Camera Bag: Terrie’s Camera Bag:
Adobe Lightroom CC – We use this software for raw conversion and cataloging.
Adobe Photoshop CC – We use this software to make any adjustments to the final image before printing.
Q-Image – This is a print management software which we have found very helpful.
